My Christmas Tree: Insipred in the Wild

Inspired in the wild, Harry Potter, and in a tree I saw in Florida, I decided to create something different this year.  The weird looking branches around the tree are plant parasites I saw in a tree in Florida.  They are not exactly the same, but kind of.

Then, the star of the show:

Susan The Owl

The White Ghost Village

No signs of life under this tree because the winter was so brutal that everybody left for christmas.  Next year, maybe they will spend the season there.  Good joke.

This white cardboard village is from ebay.  It is firm and strong enough. It came with small white tape spots to secure them in the tree skirt.

It gave life to the tree, it looks so beautiful, specially at night.  I will be adding more elements and textures along the years.  Like a real city looks like; wooden houses, colors, plastic everywhere, pollution, people, cars, bakery, hospitals, etc.

Unless, I am trying to replicate Switzerland, which is a perfect country.

Totally recommend.

Pictures & Ornaments

I placed pictures of my beloved Shi Tzu "Naye" that died this past March 13, 2025.  Also, more pictures to come.  The red house reminds me of ornaments I saw from my childhood.  Do you know? In my house we crafted the majority of our ornaments.  Using the small boxes of matches, soap, and egg containersWe wrapped it in a variety of christmas gift papers, glue, glitter and ribbons. So 90's.

I was planning to re-arrange the ornaments and adding some stuff, but I love how it looks.  This was my first attempt on decorating the tree.  Let's see how I do it next year God willing.

Merry Christmas to all of you and may all you deserve hugs you.

 Keep Moving Forward,
