Chanel Mademoiselle Perfumes

 Chanel Mademoiselle and I have a story. 

 

Who created Mademoiselle?

Applause for this man for creating one of the most elegant and uplifting fragrances in the perfume world. Mademoiselle is described as a modern ambery fragrance with a fresh character that keeps the memory of Coco Chanel alive. 

Mademoiselle has 5 different versions, each one with their respective notes.  For general knowledge, I will make mention of the main top notes: 

• Sicilian Orange
• Calabrian Bergamont and lemon
• Middle notes of rose, fruity tones and jasmine

Other notes in available versions: 

• Vanilla
• Mandarin
• Tonka Bean
• Patchouli
• white musk 

Not my favorite but still, it was a good purchase. Perfect for summer I must say.  It last for so long when applied in the border of your hair (undervalued hot spot).

The first time I smelled Mademoiselle was because I was reading a fashion magazine while waiting for my appointment and since then, I knew how I wanted to smell forever. So, when I had my first out of college job, I bought it.  I have great memories wearing this perfume and one of them was that everybody knew when I got into the building.  They said:  "Mrs Chanel has arrived".

This is the picture of my first bottle: (the empty one at the bottom). Later with my second job out of college I bought the body wash, cream and bar soap. Not a fan of of the extras, but still, it helped the fragrance to stay longer.

My first bottle was outstanding, I bought it in Manhattan New York. The second one was bought here in Puerto Rico at Jc Penney (they no longer sell the brand) in 2015 along with the body wash, cream and bar soap.  Can't explain why, but it did not performed as well as the first one.

The 3rd and 4th (intense version) were bought at Sephora. 

Mademoiselle has been my signature fragrance since 2014 and have not regretted it at all.  It is a very unique fragrance.  So sad that now many more women are using it, so it is not that special anymore.  But still I believe I can't move on to another one to be my principal. I feel comfortable using it because I know how it last, how it works, how it smell after hours, how to apply it gently on my hair without damage and how to layer it with other similar fragrances. 

I have mastered the use of Mademoiselle.  

 

 

I have had like 3 different versions without knowing it. First two bottles were the same smell but not the same performance. Also, first bottle was engraved, while the other ones were stickers. Performance and  intensity all were different since the 2nd bottle.

I enjoy luxury, you should too (LOL) but...

Remember that every good deed comes from Yah (God). Never allow a perfume, handbag, or any luxury item to take over your heart.  Items won't save you, Yahusha (Jesuschrist) will.  He died and paid for our sins on the cross, luxury did not. 

The blood of Jesuschrist is the real luxury.  It is royalty at its finest, the Prince of peace.

Also, never place luxury before your basic needs and be sure to comply with all of your responsibilities first. Remember to give to the poor and the people in need.  Sure, we can enjoy life, but let us have a heart check first. 

These things are just things. They do not and will not bring you happiness nor are going to fill the space that belongs to God in your Heart.  When you work hard and receive that paycheck, check your surroundings first. Give to your church if you consider they make good and responsible use of the tithes and offerings, but first, ask God what to do. At the end, everything belongs to Him.

I enjoy luxury, but I love Yah! His word is the food of my soul.  The blood in my veins says HalleluYah!
