Dreams are Made Of Egyptian Cotton

 

Oh! My favorite fabric, the best texture I have experienced by far.  Of course, I know for a fact that there are better silky bead sheets out there, but this is my present I am enjoying it. 

I found these set for king bed on Marshalls for $60.  If you ask me, for the quality, brand, and the size the price is more than fair.  When I compare prices on ebay for single pillow cases made of egyptian cotton, this was such a great find. 

How it feels?  

Sadly, I have not been able to get rid of wrinkles. Not even using my Conair steamer.

Feels amazing to the skin, but, I am sure that if I add a cushioned mattress protector  (juts like the ones in hotels) it will feel even softer and luxurious.  It feels soft, temperature feels fresh ( I guess is because cotton breaths easier) , and the only thing that truly bothers me is how wrinkly it gets. 

Fact: I found egyptian cotton thanks to the movie "Uptown Girls", one of my all time favorite movies.  Just like "White Chicks", I can watch and watch this movie and feel the joy of the lessons on it.

I spent the last 3 days of 2025 in a local hotel and there, I remembered how hospitality places make their beds comfortable for guests. 

 

When I was checking the bed I noticed the layers to make it comfortable and soft.  This is my goal from now on.

 

In conclusion, my bed is now a project in process for both aesthetics and "comfiness" and I am lucky to have found this amazing deal.  Comfy, soft, gentle, elegant, quality that feels expensive.  I found all of that with this set.  

Marshalls is truly the place to find gems.
