To The Ones Feeling Like a Failure...

Today, a video about a young lady narrating her situation with the job market appeared on my feed and I felt the need to leave a comment:

While is true that we are responsible for our future, that goes til a certain extent.  The system is designed to stress and to burnt us out.

This is not a conspiracy, it is facts.

An example of how promotions at work works most of the time:

It is about your "talent" + dirty moves + the people you know.

In Puerto Rico it is the same thing and worst, because at least I can say that some of my best job experiences has been in the USA.  You don't have to feel ashamed or as a failure.  As long as yo are doing your best, be content and avoid giving away your feelings and thoughts to these vampires.  Of course, honor your emotions, you are allowed to grieve and to feel your experience but do not take it to the point of believing that all of this is your fault.

Because it is not

I went that route and it was dark; no better outcome came from it. I have a degree in Office Administration, and  how disappointed I was to see and to hear that people who studied psychology were taking my spot in these offices.  My bachelor degree is not the best in terms of status, (can't compare this to finances for example) but it gives you a broad knowledge of how to run even a company.  I have knowledge ( and been self-studying about finances, stock market, Roth IRA, 401k, taxes, laws both in Puerto Rico and USA IRS, etc...) that people who studied psychology and failed don't.  And because they lack the qualifications I have, those are the ones getting a job that was made for me to grow and go to the next level.

Companies find that attractive.

Why?

Because it allows them to pay employees even lower than the minimum if they feel (yes, I said that) is fair.  They will even pay "under the table" to workers and avoid paying for insurances and other stuff required by the government. This also leads to exploitation in most cases, and most people don't respect themselves enough to walk away and look or create the opportunity they deserve.

They talk mostly about janitors and jobs considered "low key" but this happens often in locally owned business, medical and law offices, etc.

Because of this, the system has been thriving on this abusive pattern for centuries.

Tired of lay offs, and even me getting fired for shady reasons, I decided to make changes.  I am done with office jobs for a variety of reasons, but mainly because I could never find a job to retire from it.  In Puerto Rico, companies advocated for laws  that benefits them but punish the workers.  Companies now feel freer than ever to hire and to dispose of you like and whenever they want.  They will not give you a specific reason so you can't sue them.

This created a crisis that ended up in people staying at home, and receiving free rent and food stamps became a protest and the only way to show disapproval.  People would complain about this, but they would not complain about laws taking you steps back to your next career level and lifestyle change.

We want to work, but companies make sure you burn out enough to walk away.  They are secretly hoping you will be out in 6 months and if not, they will push you to quit.

There is a lot to say about this and also, let's not forget how mental and physical health can be severely affected.

For example: "Multitasking": a word that applies to computers, all of a sudden was a requisite for individuals looking for job opportunities in corporate/office fields.  This has been out of hand for years. It's a long topic and I made an investigative work when I was in my 3rd year of college about this.  Scientific papers from reputable universities in the United States of America and Europe confirm how multitasking will contribute to the decline of your cognitive system as years go by.  This not mentioning how prolonged periods of stress can also and will contribute to the decline on the overall health of individuals.

Long topic with a variety of sheds.

While we have religious people earning absurd amounts of money for brainwashing society (part of the social game to keep masses further from the truth) we have honorable hard working, brilliant, smart people waiting for an opportunity that will actually change their life and their family's.  But these people would brain wash you to believe it is normal to suffer and to be taken advantage of while they are living lavishly off offerings product of the fear of being cursed and believing some day a magical unicorn will descend from the heavens and will change their lives.  Also, many will get married to well established partners to exit the rat race to have a more "blessed and comfortable life".  Also, they will say "this is God's will.

Is the irony, it is the AUDACITY...

My advice: go back to college and look for a technical career.  Bachelor degrees are no longer worth it. Even engineers are getting fired or not being able to find better opportunities over 80k a year. Also, AI is here to stay and it will get worst.  Think about services and skills that AI will not be able to replace. I have more to say about all the things I have done believing I was the problem and that " I wasn't having enough faith".

Because of this, I collapsed mentally due to feeling I was not enough.  I started looking to do more and more and more to:

- achieve the dystopian super powers you believed companies were looking for and you did not had.
- to prove that I was capable of doing more than being a secretary.

That is how I ended in health care sciences twice; wasting more money trying to enter other field because it was (and is) clear that office jobs were not helping me to achieve basic needs.  I was desperate and desperation made me took decisions all over the place.  But regardless of  it being an amazing experience and me acquiring valuable knowledge that will serve me for the rest of my life, had good grades, etc, I cannot handle some aspects of being a health care worker.

My mental health was a mess; I felt as if I had not achieved anything.  And that is not true at all. Indeed, for my background, my family history, the place I grew up, and my mental health challenges... I have done a lot.

It is not your fault. Don't allow them to break you. God bless you.

I Need to Take These Words Out of My Chest:

When you believe only Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers, or Wanda Rolón could be the only ones with the power to shock you, Juan Carlos Rosas from UNO in Añasco, PR came to claim the throne.  Funny thing is that maybe this segment I am going to talk about is not available on their youtube channel because they take care of some events so there is no proof of it being told or done.  You know, "people talk...where is the proof? In their minds? Jaja, what a joke. Let them talk and let my enemies be destroyed!"

(Their attitude whenever someone confronts them with their stupidity).

This man had the audacity to make a joke...wait, it was not a joke. It was a harmful comment about people living with their parents. While I recognize there are extreme cases of child men/women pretending to suck the life out of their parents, there are cases in where there was no option left.

This, till responsible adults overcome their obstacles.  Me for example I came out from an abusive relationship in which my mental and physical health and money were drained.  Leaving me in a vulnerable financial and emotional position and in top of that, I was lay off months later.  My world was crumbling and I was diagnosed with PTSD.

I had no other choice, because I was mentally unstable.  I am in a better place now, but still here and there somehow I keep feeling some memories and I have nightmares.  It is a process and here I am doing everything in my power to be a honorable member in society.

This man said that if you were past your 20's and still at your parents home, "there is a problem with you".  He said that even if you hated your job and even if your boss was abusing you, you had the responsibility to endure...

My Dear Intelligent and Human Readers,

I know you are aware of the fact that passive aggressiveness is a subtle form of abuse.

Abuse have many faces.

It is not always necessary to scream or to hit, sometimes a joke, a "peaceful" comment  or gestures can be ways of abuse.  Therefore, I will never encourage anybody to endure any disrespectful action in their job place.

It does not matter if the tone was "cute", if it is disrespectful, if it hurts your feelings and if it is repetitive it is abuse.  Let's stop normalizing employees needing to be the strong and the quite ones never responding to any kind of disrespect in the name of "peace" or "you have bills to pay".

LORD have Mercy...

Says who? (I'm having my D. Trump momentum here)

The man who married a wealthy woman and that was able to exit the rat race comfortably to pursue a (failed) musical career because his wife approved?  He must had kept this in secret you know...

You know why he resigned his secular job? Because he "felt in the spirit" that he was about to be famous. Then, when his daily planner was empty, nobody was booking him to sing, all of a sudden he "felt the calling" to be a pastor... and live off of it.

How convenient...

Apparently, he is too great to have a secular job, same goes for all of them leaving their jobs to live off being pastors.  But they will make you believe they never have read Paul when he said he did not wanted to be a burden to anybodySo he started to sell tents.

Yes, they accuse people of being "cherry pickers"...

If only Paul could be revived...but for what? Chances are new gospel (age) temple merchants will crucify him.  That would be a very interesting timeline to live in.  This new church crucifies Jesus and his disciples every day.

Are we still waiting for the anti-christ?

It is here!
It is them.

Earning money while making stupid comments from a stage must make you feel a little powerful...? Let me not mention they using their platform to ridicule anybody that thinks different or that oppose certain practices.  They will take their microphone and start giving a speech of how righteous they are and how sinful anybody that questions their decisions is.

Ja! I have some things to say about this, things I saw and heard myself, nobody told me. I lived trough it.

I do not feel sorry for these kind of people.  I guess the situation that suddenly overcame to this man was divine intervention.  If you know him, you know.  This man needed to be humbled somehow because he was too much and he believed he was the cool guy.  He was making jokes about vulnerable people and talking carelessly about situations.  How dare you to say people must endure abuse at their job place? So they can pay church taxes? You get the joke right?

It is time to speak broadly about spiritual abuse and the manipulation going on.

How far will this kind of people go if nobody holds them accountable? Like we say in Puerto Rico, there are "lambones everywhere" and I am tired of people sweeping under the rug whenever these people say or do something out of place.  There is always an excuse on why they talk X way or their team will try to make you feel that you are the problem

Sounds familiar?
Abusers operate like this.

How long are we going to allow this to happen?

My opinion: it is time for the government to step in and analyze the practices, tactics and different kind of abuses committed under the law of religious freedom.

The world has had enough. It is time for a change.

Keep Moving Forward,
