Stop Glorifying Pain

Today while I was scrolling trough my instagram account, a post from Vogue about Juneteenth month appeared.  While the art was beautiful, the message was not. The artist stated that she wanted to hold the grief today and beyond.

When my dog of almost 17+ years died this past March 13, 2025 I looked up for the definition of grief:

According to Google AI:

Grief is the natural emotional response to loss, most commonly associated with the death of a loved one, but also encompassing other significant life changes. It's a process of adjustment and can manifest in various ways, including intense sadness, numbness, anger, and physical symptoms. Grief is a personal experience, and there's no set timeline or pattern for how someone grieves.

Emotional Responses:

Common emotions associated with grief include sadness, anger, anxiety, fear, numbness, and even feelings of relief or guilt.

Also I found a picture that said: "We grief because we loved."

That was beautiful, healing, and painful at the same time. Healing began to flow all over me knowing that now she is light, love and ready to fulfill her purpose in the universe. At that time, I was still under the christianity mindset, and it gave me peace and hope to know that she was in heaven awaiting for us.  But now, I have overcome that era and came to more realistic observations about life, energy, and life cycles.

That is another topic for another day.

When it comes to black history, toxic emotions are still being glorified and labeled as "ok" to feel. Why are you encouraging an individual to be encapsulated in anger, sadness, anxiety and fear for the future?

Why are you encouraging individuals to feel sorry for themselves and for their skin color history? Why not to start changing grief into power? It is physics, energy never dies, it transforms.  So, let's honor our ancestors by transforming their sorrow into power so they can finally rest in peace seeing how their predecessors surpassed the oppressor by starting their journey to freedom from within.

Because: "As above so below, as within so without".  It is vibrational, it is energy, it is law, it is physics.

There must be a change of perspective about how we process history if we want to heal the land.  Healing is the priority, not to honor negative emotions.

And I know that many more agree with me.

Let us start changing grief into power in both, man and women.  The role of a man is vital to raise individuals of trust, balance, with a healthy self-esteem.  Women on the other hand, we nurture, we love, we feed, we welcome, and we host.

It is a new beginning.

This is the balance everybody looks up for yet, we have influential people focusing therefore promoting the wrong ideas.

Are they allowed to be positive and to live in their desired reality? Or in order to be accepted and recognized as allies and not traitors, should they perpetuate negative emotions?  What a disgrace is to restrain people from changing their narrative.  Of course they are allowed to do so! But influential people, the ones with the power to move hearts and send a message must focus on the change they say they are longing for.

If these were the early 2000's, maybe there was room for excuses to be made. But we are almost in 2030, the world is changing and many individuals have step into their inner power already. Look at Blue Ivy, look at the Kardashian kids...do you see them crying and perpetuating the slavery song? They have been raised to believe they are owners of their destinies.  Yes, they know their history, but their present is their power. The ones willing to stay in misery will stay miserable and the ones willing to succeed will rise and shine.

A new beginning has been handed to us and we decide what to do with it.

Keep Moving Forward,
